Square Enix has released a new trailer for its upcoming Final Fantasy XIV reboot known as A Realm Reborn.

The PC version of the game is expected to release later this year, with a PS3 release to follow either towards the end of this year or early 2013. A Realm Reborn is a complete rebuild of the original including graphics, story, and abilities, but will it be enough to repair the damage done by the original?

All PC subscriptions to the original Final Fantasy XIV will be suspended on September 30 until after the launch of A Realm Reborn.
