Assassin's Creed

Although Assassin’s Creed Origins is looking to take the series into a true open-world RPG direction, there are still many classic gameplay elements to be found here for longtime fans, including what we saw in this brief E3 2017 demo. Talking to informants, hunting for clues, and throwing hapless guards off of high ledges remain at the core of Assassin’s Creed as seen in our video below.

The original assassin, Bayek, who is a sheriff of sorts in ancient Egypt, is on the hunt for a man only known as The Crocodile. Bayek may not be as agile as previous assassins, but his methods are nonetheless effective with his bow and arrow, curved sword, and shield.

Assassin’s Creed Origins will be available on October 27 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
