Bethesda has a busy rest of the year, with several highly-anticipated titles ready to launch in the remaining months, like Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus and the exciting sequel to 2014’s The Evil Within. Fans hoping for an even more terrifying and well-balanced experience in Tango Gameworks’ sequel can take a look at a newly released section of gameplay.

During a recent Bethesda preview event, I was able to get some hands-on time with The Evil Within 2 on Xbox One and several other upcoming titles. Creative supervisor Shinji Mikami and game director John Johanas also spoke with EGM to answer some questions about what fans can expect from this new romp in the survival horror genre. For extra fun, I played through this new chapter, seen below, on the game’s hardest difficulty setting, Nightmare, and it shows off just how epic the survival aspect will be this time around.

The Evil Within 2 launches for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on Friday, October 13th.
