Here’s a look at Minecraft: PlayStation Vita Edition in action

Posted on August 14, 2014 AT 03:51am

Sony has released a new trailer for the PlayStation Vita version of Minecraft that shows the handheld version in action.

There’s still no firm release date for Minecraft: PlayStation Vita Edition, but it’s expected to be out by the end of the month, along with the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions.

Earlier this week, 4J stated that it has finally finished debugging the PlayStation 4 version: ”We’ve handed Minecraft: PlayStation 4 Edition over to Sony for final test.” However, the team is still working on the Xbox One and Vita version.

“We’re still bug fixing #MinecraftXbox1 and #MinecraftPSVita. We’ll give you news when we have it.”

Minecraft on PlayStation Vita will support cross-buy with the PlayStation 3 version, so if you own that you won’t have to pay to download the game on Vita. However, if you wish to play the game on PlayStation 4 also, you will have to pay a small upgrade fee.
