The Wonderful 101 Trailer Confuses, Delights

In addition to the new Zelda and Mario games announcement, this morning’s Nintendo Direct presentation also debuted a trailer for Platinum Games’ The Wonderful 101.

The Wonderful 101 was previously known as Project P-100. It was announced as a launch window title for Wii U, which means it ought to come out sometime between now and March.

I want to describe The Wonderful 101 to you. I really do. But it is all. Over. The place. It reminds me of The Incredibles, or perhaps a Saturday morning cartoon about 100-some superheroes who battle giant robots.

And sometimes enjoy water slides?
