THE BUZZ: Battlefield 1942 is still remembered as a fantastic game that was ahead of its time, and a game that all other entries in the series will be measured by. With that in mind it’s a wonder this hasn’t happened sooner. From the makers of the Battlefield 2 intro remake comes Battlefield 1942′s intro remade using Battlefield 3.

EGM’s TAKE: While it may be hard to ignore the seams when watching the intro, the spirit of the original introduction is well preserved. It also tickles us that the credits after the video run for about as long as the entire introduction does.
