THE BUZZ: While it may be a foregone conclusion that the very successful Battlefield 3 would be receiving DLC, we finally have got confirmation from EA. When asked by fans whether Battlefield 3 would be getting in on the DLC action, EA responded saying, “we haven’t announced our DLC plans just yet but we are play testing some impressive things in the Studio.”
While we don’t have any details on the package(s), we’re willing to bet we’ll see a few new maps, some weapons, and hopefully a new multiplayer mode or two.
EGM’s TAKE: We’re hoping to see some new maps, but would welcome anything DICE has to offer. How about you? What would you like to see in DICE’s first Battlefield 3 DLC package?
