Could Bethesda Be Hiring for Elder Scrolls VI or Fallout Sequel

THE BUZZ: ZeniMax Media, Bethesda’s parent company, posted job openings that suggest the developer could be working on a sequel to one of its triple A franchises. ZeniMax’s job listing is looking for someone with, “extensive experience programming and optimizing for the Xbox 360 and PS3,” which to some suggests that Bethesda is working on next generation hardware that shares a similar architecture.
That, coupled with the fact that Bethesda never works on anything that doesn’t take less than two years, makes it easy to see why some believe we will see a new entry to The Elder Scrolls or Fallout franchise in the early life of the next generation.
EGM’s TAKE: What can we say, we’re in love with the notion that Bethesda is working on either franchise, and being that both games were highly successful for the publisher, we have no doubt they’ll turn up sooner or later. We also like the idea of having a new Fallout entry to welcome us into the next console generation, much like Bethesda did with The Elder Scrolls IV.
