Dead Island: Riptide Debut Trailer Pulls at the Heartstrings

Deep Silver has released a debut CGI trailer for Dead Island: Riptide titled “When all hope is lost,” which shows a couples last few moments as zombies begin to surround them.

“Furious monsoon rainstorms have laid waste to the island of Palanai in the Banoi archipelago, waters have risen and caused a flood disaster – because of this and the raging zombie invasion, a rescue mission for the survivors seems to be without prospect of success. All hope seems to have been lost for the surviving humans.” the publisher says.

The game features new characters, multiplayer features and missions. Dead Island: Riptide is scheduled to release in 2013 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
