E3 2012: Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Priced, Dated

Not to be outdone by Halo 4 and Black Ops II‘s big showing at the Microsoft press conference this morning, Valve has announced a price point and release date for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. CS:GO will be launching simultaneously on the PlayStation Network, Xbox Live Arcade, and Steam on August 21, 2012 with a $15 price point.
Global Offensive introduces new maps, weapons, game modes, and some hefty graphical upgrades, all while keeping Counter-Strike‘s wildly popular round-based gameplay intact.
