THE BUZZ: Developer Hello Games wants to wish us a Merry Christmas, in the form of some free Christmas themed DLC for the newly release XBLA game Joe Danger: Special Edition. With the DLC Joe gets to don a Christmas suit and his bike gets switched out to a Christmas themed ATV. Hello Games says the the gift is temporary so when it gets released December 21 for XBLA, make sure to snatch it up. After Christmas, the santa suit and ATV will disappear.

EGM’s TAKE: Why would this harmless gesture from Hello Games vanish like so much christmas cheer? We have to guess, the disappearing act is related to the fact that this is a free update, which as many of you know is hardly Microsoft’s favorite thing. Now our only hope to keep this Christmas pack is for someone at Microsoft to be visited by three ghosts on Christmas Eve prompting a change of heart and a large goose for dinner.
