Gameplay Footage of Obsidian’s Cancelled Aliens RPG

A thirteen minute gameplay video of Obsidian Entertainment’s cancelled Aliens RPG has appeared online, pretty much proving just how close the game was to completion when it was canned.
As you can see from the video below the game seems pretty much finished–well this section does anyway–which makes me wonder why Sega would cancel the game. Of course the video is pretty dark and low quality so it’s hard to see just how good the game actually looked, but it seems that all of the features and voice acting were in and ready to go.
The game was in development for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC back in 2006.
