Microsoft has released the official launch trailer for Epic Games and People Can Fly’s Gears of War: Judgment.

It’s a little lacking in story, but more than makes up for it with explosions and some good old chainsaw cutting action. Judgment is a prequel to the first Gears of War and tells the story of what happened to Damon Baird and Cole Augustus immediately after the Locust first appeared on Emergence Day.

Gears of War: Judgment is due to release March 19 exclusively on Xbox 360.
