THE BUZZ: We already know Just Dance 3 was the second highest selling game of 2011, but Ubisoft has taken this time to throw some lofty numbers at us anyway. Just Dance 3 has managed to move 7 million units since debuting in October. On top of that, 25 million units have been sold from the Just Dance brand, globally. This includes Just Dance, Just Dance 2, Just Dance 3, Just Dance Summer Party, Just Dance 2: Extra Songs, Just Dance Kids, and of course Just Dance Kids 2. Ubisoft also took time to tell us gamers have been grooving to beats in Just Dance 3 for 23 million minutes per day.

EGM’s TAKE: With this type of success it’s little wonder why every time we turn on a TV, we are bombarded with dance game commercials from every pop band under the sun. We can only hope that this type of success and subsequent exploitation comes to games like Skyrim or Saints Row: The Third one day.
