Even though 4A Games’ Metro: Last Light has been delayed to early 2013, the developer is making a peace offering of sort for anyone who wants to get into the precursor. Hence, Metro 2033 is on sale.
As THQ announced today, the game will be available on Xbox Live for $9.99 from tomorrow until Monday, October 22nd.
That’s half the regular price, and will be part of a separate promotion from the usual Xbox Live Deal of the Week.
4A Games recently informed their community members that multiplayer would be scrapped from Metro: Last Light, citing a need to focus wholly on the single-player campaign. Metro 2033 was also a single-player title, and performed decently, selling over 623,000 units in the last three years.
