New Mass Effect 3 Comics on the Way

THE BUZZ: Mass Effect fans looking for extra background on Shepard’s squad mates need to look no further. Come April 25, Mac Walters, lead writer for Mass Effect 3, and Dark Horse Comics are combining to release a series of comics called “Homeworlds,” that will help flesh out some of your allies in the upcoming space opera Mass Effect 3. The first book will tell readers about James Vega, the tattooed space marine with a mean mug in every promo shot we’ve seen.
EGM’s TAKE: EA sure does love to mix their media up in an effort to promote their upcoming games. If it’s not an animated movie for Dead Space, its a monthly comic book as we see here. Not that we mind, the Mass Effect series is one that is at its most enjoyable when every bit of the world and its characters are fleshed out, while still giving the user the ability to take that information or leave it behind.
