The release of Far Cry 3 isn’t far off now, and Ubisoft has released a new storyline trailer which gives us more of an introduction to the game’s interesting and intense storyline.

Basically, the situation is this: You play Jason Brody, one of a group of tourists living it up while on vacation on a lush tropical island. Unfortunately, the island sits in the middle of a bloody conflict between different factions—and Jason and his friends find themselves caught in the middle of that conflict.

Thus, you’ll control Jason in Far Cry 3‘s open-world FPS sandbox, fighting to stay alive, rescue your friends, and somehow make it off of the island before becoming another of its casualties.
