THE BUZZ: Well, folks, it’s official. EGMNow has confirmed that Los Angeles Clippers Power Forward and resident dunk-a-holic Blake Griffin has been granted his wish and will make an appearance in the upcoming id Software FPS, Rage.

While we won’t ruin the surprise of how or where you’ll encounter the hoops star, we can say that if you look hard enough, you will indeed find him in the game. We stumbled upon Griffin during a recent sit-down with the sci-fi shooter and couldn’t help but chuckle at the startling discovery, which helped make sense of the viral video unleashed by Bethesda Softworks earlier this fall.

EGM’S TAKE: As a huge Clippers fan (yeah, yeah..I know), I nearly fell out of my chair when I first sighted the NBA’s resident Doctor of Dunkology admist the madness of the wasteland. As a huge fan of the game, Griffin is undoubtedly stoked, and fellow hoops fans should definitely get a kick out of this clever cameo.
