The first footage of Activision’s The Walking Dead has appeared online, but sadly it doesn’t exactly set the world alight.

Guru3D member “Stone Gargoyle” shared the video below, which he claims is from an early prototype build of the game. I seriously hope it’s a very early build–or it’s a fake video–because the animations and graphics look horrible. The game is going to need a lot of polishing if it’s to be a success when it releases next year.

Expect a lot more official media from the publisher over the next few months, that will be the real litmus test for the game–I’m going to give it the benefit of the doubt for now, considering this is unofficial footage.
