Several fighting game franchises have experienced revivals in the last three years, so isnt it Mortal Kombats turn? Although Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe delivered an HD-era MK experience, it also suffered from rather uninspired brawling and lacked the sinew and sanguinity expected by its core fanbase. Now the team has a new name and a new publisher, and is taking the opportunity to make a fresh start.
