2nd Wave of Steam Greenlight Titles Announced
Posted on October 15, 2012 AT 03:17pm
Just three short hours ago, Valve has announced the next batch of approved Steam Greenlight titles. In a bold move, they’ve approved double the number of their originally reported ten titles.
In Valve’s words:
This second wave of titles was originally targeted to include at least 10 titles. Given the number and quality of games submitted, and the ship date of many of the top-ranking titles, the decision was made to increase the size of this group.
Thus, we have a list of twenty titles to announce, along with links to their Steam pages, as well as proposed release dates, where available. So, here goes!
Complete list of Greenlight’s second wave of titles:
Afterfall InSanity Extended Edition – Expected December 2012
AirBuccaneers – Public Beta starts today [October 15th], Full game expected December 2012
Blockscape – Phase 1 already live, Phase 2 expected to start December 15th, 2012
Contrast – Expected January 2013
Fly’n – Expected November 8th, 2012
Folk Tale – Demo expected Winter 2013, Full game expected Winter 2013
Forge – Beta live and taking sign-ups, Full game expected December 1st, 2012
Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams (Project Giana) – Expected October 23rd
Gnomoria – No release date available
Interstellar Marines – Expected late 2013
The Intruder – Expected 2013, no quarterly date mentioned
Lost Story: The Last Days of Earth - No release date available
Miasmata – Expected November 2012
Miner Wars 2081 – Expected December 1st, 2012
NEOTOKYO – Already launched!
Octodad: Dadliest Catch – Expected late 2013
Perpetuum – Already launched!
POSTAL 2 COMPLETE – Expected October 22nd, 2012
Secrets of Grindea - Expected 2013, no quarterly date mentioned
The Stanley Parable: HD Remix - Expected Early 2013
Yogventures! – Open beta expected first quarter 2013
No matter your flavour of gaming, I’m sure there’s something you’ll want to play in this list! I’m a little sad that Cognition didn’t make the cut, but here’s hoping they get to try again for the next round. If they do a batch of 20+ games for the 3rd wave, it bodes well for that game and many others!
