Posted on September 6, 2012 AT 08:33pm
Retail work is a hard, as anyone who has done it can attest. For those who haven’t, there is Not My Bag, a story, published by Image Comics. Sina Grace, the artist for the indie hit L’il Depressed Boy and former editor for comic superstar Robert Kirkman, tells the story of life in sales, recounting six months of his life as he tried to pay the bills working in retail.
“”Not My Bag is a celebration of all of my passions: comic books, fashion, and the gothic genre,” Grace explained in regards to the book.
Grace takes his unique talents and creates an interesting take on the business world, publishing a black and white graphic novel that is sure to get fans excited, especially those who can identify with working in customer service. To support the 96-page graphic novel, a preview of the book will be appearing in The Walking Dead #102, and will be available in on October 10th.
