So I’m not sure how much stock to give this, but Amazon’s German arm is listing its price and release date predictions for the Wii U.

Amazon’s predictions set the Wii U’s release to be on the 21^st of December which doesn’t leave all that much time for them to dominate the Christmas market. Personally I feel the spring prediction of the next 360 actually makes a bit more sense but at the same time, Nintendo is beginning to need the money to make their shareholders happy.

Price wise, the Wii U is expected to be selling at £299.99 or $470.95. I apologize if my conversion is off but the American price wasn’t put out. Either way, this price point isn’t as bad as it could be. I think Nintendo has learned from its competitors and its own mistakes when it comes to pricing.

While Nintendo has obviously not confirmed any of these; those points aren’t that farfetched when you consider it. Nintendo Showed the Wii U off at E3 this year, a few third party developers have given their support and obviously Nintendo’s all-star line-up is on its way, so game wise it isn’t looking as under-appreciated as it was a few weeks ago. My advice is to take this with a grain of salt and simply keep an eye out for news from Nintendo, predictions are nice and all but they don’t really tell us anything.
