Another Game Added to the Steam Linux Beta
Posted on November 8, 2012 AT 05:43pm
Although there aren’t a whole lot of games available to play on Steam for Linux, the collection will continue to grow as developers like Nordic Games put their support behind the OS. As of today, anyone in participating in the Linux beta can purchase and play The Book of Unwritten Tales.
According to the Steam website, there are now 24 games that are supported on Linux, including games such as Team Fortress 2 and Serious Sam 3: BFE. The first wave of beta participants is already using the new client, and Valve plans on continuing to bring in more people to test it. If you’d like a shot at trying out the new client before it’s publicly available, then fill out the survey at http://www.valvesoftware.com/linuxsurvey.php. Note that you need to have a Steam account to participate (go figure).
What games would you like to see get the Linux treatment? Leave your answers in the comment section below.
