Legendary comic book artist Arthur Adams has teamed up with Aspen Comics, and today, the three alternate covers for the first issue of the new series Idolized have been revealed, with Adams’ work featured on two of them.
Written by David B. Schwartz, with artwork by Micah Gunnel, Idolized shows a world where superheroes are the norm, a young hero named Joules hides her dark past, all the while attempting to gain fame and fortune in a super-hero reality show. The book will start off with the initial auditions of “Superhero Idol”, and when the bright lights shin on Joules, her dark secrets rise to the surface.
The three covers for Idolized #1 will feature a brilliant cover by Art Adams (with colors by Peter Steigerwald), with an alternate cover featuring model Rachel Clark, who was debuted awhile back as promotion for the series. A third cover will also be available as a special variant, with the original Adams cover in black and white.
With a special #0 issue coming out June 27th, fans can ramp up to the debut issue and get their desired cover when Idolized #1 arrives on August 8th.
