Assassin’s Creed III was probably already destined  to be one of the top selling games  for 2012, but with numbers like these that keep increasing, there might not be a limit as to how great the sales numbers could end up. Today, Ubisoft announced that Assassin’s Creed III has become the most pre-ordered game in their history. In fact, they have more than doubled those of the previous record holder – Assassin’s Creed Revelations.

The momentum is clearly picking up and there is no question that Assassin’s Creed III is poised to be one of the top selling games of 2012 when it launches on October 30th for the PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.
