Gamers are familiar with the season passes that games are dishing out nowadays to keep from games being sold to the “used game markets”. Don’t look at this news as bad news though. Look at it as if Ubisoft is telling us that they plan on cramming DLC down our throats for a long time after Assassin’s Creed III releases.

We all know that Assassin’s Creed has multiplayer so be prepared to sharpen your hidden blades since I surmise the DLC will be single player and multplayer DLC.

This leak was from a Gamestop employee who received a letter from Ubisoft thanking them, as a company, for exceeding preorder goals and Ubisoft now wishes Gamestop to let fans know of the season pass.

“We are currently in the process of creating a complementary development team that will begin working on post-launch episodic content to continue the Game of the Year experience that Assassin’s Creed 3 will undoubtedly deliver,” reads the letter.

Remember, no official word has been given by Ubisoft themselves but I see them doing this so time will tell. Look for Assassin’s Creed 3 hitting shelves on Oct.30th.
