Announced today by Warner Bros. Consumer Products, DC Entertainment, and Cryptozoic Entertainment, Batman: Arkham City Escape is the latest addition to the Arkham City universe. The board game is based on the amazing story line of the award-winning video game series developed by Rocksteady Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.

Two players will be able to go head-to-head; one as Batman and the other as twenty of his most vile enemies from The Joker and Harley Quinn to Poison Ivy and The Riddler. Players will rely on strategy and their cunning to win. Each time the game is played will be different, however, as the course can change depending on a player’s decisions. The villains are moved about the game board and Batman tries to prevent their escape to keep the streets of Gotham City clean.

The game is due out in early 2013, so keep your eyes peeled.
