Batman: The Fire Rises, Comes To Browsers From Wikia
Posted on June 14, 2012 AT 08:13pm
In anticipation of the upcoming (apparent) final installment of the newest Batman film series, The Dark Knight Rises, Warner Brothers and Wikia have teamed up for the release of the exclusive, browser based real-time strategy game, Batman: The Fire Rises. In a surprise twist, players will be playing not as The Bat, but as henchmen, attempting to steal and create as much chaos as possible during Bane’s uprising, before the Gotham Police Department puts a stop to it.
Starting with three levels, the game will be an interesting look into Gotham, using various crew members to pull off the biggest heists. From petty thugs to the greatest thief in the DC Universe, Catwoman herself, players can use various types of henchmen to maximize their crime sprees.
With the ability to compete with friends on Facebook, find out who is the better criminal and brag about your abilities, expanding your influence in the ever-decaying city of Gotham.
The game will update periodically, with the plans for more levels to be added in with the release of The Dark Knight Rises on July 20th, and the game will be open to the public, for free, on June 19th. Be sure to check the Batman Wiki for more information about the game.
