I’d like to start this with a witty reference about going where no man has gone before but let’s face it, they have gone the Star Trek game route before and the results were not that impressive.

That being said, this new incarnation looks like they got it right. Check out the new trailer from Gamescom for the upcoming Star Trek game. This one is based on the 2009 Star Trek movie and they brought Chris Pine (Cpt. Kirk) and Zachary Quinto (Mr. Spock) in to voice the characters they played in the movie. The attention to detail is what grabbed my eye and I’ll be on the look out for more as the release date gets closer.
