Despite the accepted fact that Billy the Kid was killed by Pat Garrett, the man is alive and well in  Eric Powell and Kyle Hotz’ series, Billy The Kid’s Old Timey Oddities. Billy and the crew are set to return soon with a brand new adventure, published by Dark Horse Comics.

Hired by Fineas Sproule, Billy and his gang of “freaks” (his term) have to take an adventure to rescue Callahan, a reptilian skinned comrade, who is facing the wrath of one of history’s greatest villains, Count Dracula. This journey takes them to Loch Ness, the home turf of the infamous monster, Nessie.

The latest installment of the series, Billy the Kid’s Old Timey Oddities and the Orm of Loch Ness will be available on October 17th, 2012.
