A new title in the BlazBlue franchise, Chrono Phantasma, has been revealed via a new trailer. Andriasang reports that the standard fighting game upgrades will be included; new characters, stages, and abilities are the most notable. The new characters are Amane Nishiki, Bullet, and Azrael. The title doesn’t seem to be an outright sequel, but more akin to the version upgrades many fighting games receive, dating back to the innumerable versions of Street Fighter II.

While headed to arcades this winter, it wouldn’t be surprising it to see this come out on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita (and even the Nintendo 3DS), if trends continue.
