Get out your wallets folks; Gearbox is giving you yet another reason to pre-order Borderlands 2 and join the premier club. In celebration of the fact that Borderlands 2 is officially complete and off to be certified, Gearbox has just announced one of the coming pieces of DLC that will be free for premiere club members after the games launch.

Meet the Mechromancer, a new character class that players will be able to get their hands on about 60-90 days after the game’s release. Now no information about what the class will be capable of has been released yet, but it’s safe to say with a name like the Mechromancer it will probably involve mechs and killing things.

But that’s just my opinion.

Borderlands 2 is set to hit stores on September 18^th, 2012.
