In a move that should surprise no one, Gearbox and 2K have announced that Borderlands 2 will get a season pass option for future DLC on the Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
Borderlands 2 will be getting four campaign add-on content packs. Each will retail for $9.99/800 Microsoft Points if purchased when they are released individually. However, if you don’t mind paying up front, you can net $39.96/3200 Microsoft Points worth of content for $29.99/2400 Microsoft Points. It does translate to a significant savings in the long run. The season pass will be available to purchase the day Borderlands 2 is released.
Borderlands 2 will be out in just a few weeks, hitting store shelves on September 18, 2012 in North American and September 21st internationally.
