Box-O-Zombies Invades Kickstarter
Posted on December 13, 2012 AT 11:07am
The iTunes App Store is absolutely filled with Tower Defense games, but none are as ambitious as Box-O-Zombies which is currently looking for funding on Kickstarter. In Box-O-Zombies, players are tasked with rebuilding society by upgrading their base camp and defending from random zombie attacks. The planned retail version of Box-O-Zombies will feature collectible figures that can be scanned into the game using Near Field Communication (NFC) technology to unlock in game content.
The developers for Box-O-Zombies has raised over $4,000 of their $50,000 goal. There are only three weeks left for the Kickstarter campaign, so the time to pledge is now. Those who pledge $50 or more will be treated to the full retail edition of the game with included NFC reader and starter figures. Other pledge prizes include zombie thumb drives, t-shirts, and even having an in game character created in the likeness of anyone who is willing to pledge $1000.
