Brother Ali Brings Fury in Mourning in America

It’s safe to say that Brother Ali completely refuses to pull any punches, and as a result is becoming much more interesting for it. In “Mourning…” Ali laces Jake One’s hard hitting boom-bap production with heavy political verses concerning terrorism and human mistreatment in this really well done video. Directed by Todd Angkasuwan, the dark imagery suits the music pretty well, featuring Ali in between simulated scenes of warfare and police brutality.
