Cast for Dishonored Revealed

By

I’m not a fan of Bethesda, but after seeing the trailer for Dishonored, I was willing to extend a friendly hand in an attempt to reconnect with the studio. Now? They’ve taken that handshake and have pulled me in with a massive bear hug. I’m not sure if I want it or not, but this cast list is ridiculous. Let’s run down the who’s who.

  • Susan Sarandon, Academy Award winner and five-time nominee, known for her roles in “Thelma & Louise” and “Dead Man Walking”, will make her video game debut as Granny Rags, a former aristocrat who is now a deranged blind old woman after years of the street life.
  • Brad Douif, another Academy Award winner and Golden Globe winner, having starred in “The Lord of the Rings” trilogy and “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest”, takes on the roll of  Piero, the inventor and creator of the iconic mask worn by Corvo, and the provider of gadgets our masked man can wield.
  • Carrie Fisher, Emmy winner and iconic Hollywood actress, famous for her role as Princess Leia in the “Star Wars” trilogy, will be heard throughout the city of Dunwall, blasting government propaganda over loudspeakers.
  • John Slattery from “Mad Men” and “The Adjustment Bureau” voices Admiral Havelock, an ally to Corvo and a known Loyalist.
  • Micheal Madesen, a man well known for his long list of movies including “Reservoir Dogs” and “Kill Bill”, and no stranger to video game voice acting, brings life to Daud, a mysterious assassin.
  • Chloë Grace Moretz, a talented young actress from the movies “Kick-Ass” and “Huge”, portrays Yong Lady Emily, the Empress’ daughter who has been kidnapped after her mother’s death.
  • Lena Headey, the amazing actress from “Game of Thrones” and “300″, rounds out the cast as Calista, Emily’s caretaker.
  • Daniel Licht, the composer from the show “Dexter’,  lends his talents to the game in creating the game’s original score.

With all this talent, and the fact that the trailer looks amazing, I have to say thatDishonored has my attention. Let’s just hope Bethesda doesn’t drop the ball on this and make sure their QA team is up to snuff.

As a gamer for life, I've watched many things come and go. My controller has changed color and shape many times, along with my console. A fan of action RPGs and the like, I'm always willing to give a good game the chance to impress me. || Editor-In-Chief || @GamingMistress || GamingMistress@DigitalNoob.com
