[CES 2013] The Razer Edge & Razer Edge Pro dazzles at CES 2013
Posted on January 9, 2013 AT 08:27am
Consumer Electronics Show 2013 has had a lot of new gadgets and hardware shown off this year, and one that has really stood out is Razer’s new gaming tablet, the Edge. Razer is crowning the Edge as the most powerful gaming tablet in the world – it’s powered by an Intel i7 (or i5 depending on if you want the Pro or basic model) core processor with NVIDIA GeForce Series graphics with Optimus technology expressing an 10.1 high definition multi-touch display, and a high speed solid state drive. This thing is fully loaded.
What really makes the Razer Edge really unique is that it’s not just a tablet – it can be used as a laptop too when attached with a keyboard docking station. And if that’s not your cup of tea, the Razer Edge also can be converted into a Mobile Console (tablet with joystick and button controls) along with a Home Console Mode as well. These factors alone should help the device appeal to a very broad audience given it can be used in so many different ways. For more information on the Razer Edge & Razer Edge Pro, check out the video below, and their website here for the basic model and here for the pro model.
