Dark Horse Comics and Image Comics have some great announcements today on some very special franchises that they help undertake. The first is Dark Horse’s announcement that they have partnered with the science fiction blog io9 to release a daily comic strip based on the hit series MIND MGMT, by Matt Kindt.

The first series is already available through io9, and there will be more on the way, so be sure to check them out if you’re a fan of the series that pits a young journalist on a bizarre journey featuring the Mind Management department and some very strange happenings. This is a series that has to be seen to be believed!

Image Comics also made news by letting fans know that the 2012 Annual of the CBLDF (Comic Book Legal Defense Fund) will be getting a second printing, with two different covers. The annual features some of the biggest names in comics creating for a good cause. Names such as Robert Kirkman, Jonathan Hickman, Jim McCann, Sina Grace and many more will be featured in the anthology, which will be released on December 19th for its second printing.
