Counter-Strike, one of the most popular tactical first-person shooters, has announced that the newest addition to the franchise, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, is available to pre-purchase, with special incentives to order through Valve’s Steam platform. The game, which was developed by Valve and originated from a Half Life mod, is the newest addition to the great franchise.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive features a vast arsenal of weapons and maps, as well as new modes and updated visuals. With 165 Steam achievements to collect and leaderboards to dominate, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive looks to be a great addition to an already storied franchise. Those who pre-order through Steam will enjoy a 10% discount and access to the beta for the game on August 14th.
