Counter Strike: Global Offensive Gets Release Date

Valve is known for bringing their fans quality games and actually caring about what their fans have to say. Because of that dedication to the gaming community, they have quite the following. Players of Counter Strike are going to be thrilled to know that Valve has given Counter Strike: Global Offensive a release date.

CS:GO will be available August 21, 2012 and will expand upon the original team-based Counter Strike gameplay. For approximately $15 (or points equivalent) , Counter Strike: Global Offensive will be downloadable on Playstation Network, Xbox Live Arcade, and on Steam for PC or Mac. Included in the download will be new gameplay modes, leaderboards, matchmaking, characters, new maps, weapons, and updated versions of the original Counter Strike content.
