Crusader Kings II: Legacy of Rome will take you  into the political world of Byzantium. The vassals are revolting against you, and learning how to band together to be successful. Don’t worry, you now have access to the new “Leader Focus” feature.  This will allow your generals skills to play a more important role in the game and your decisions.

There will be decisions and events that are specific to the Byzantine era. You can appoint your own Orthodox leader and have greater control over where you levies come from.
