Just in time for San Diego Comic Con, Dark Horse Comics and IDW Publishing have announced a crossover of epic proportions, between the two iconic horror books. With Steve Niles at the helm, and with Christopher Mitten on artwork, this unique crossover is sure to please fans of the horror genre.

Cal McDonald (Criminal Macabre) is sent on a mission based on a story about vampires in Barrow, Alaska. There is also some major attacks going on elsewhere, where Eben (30 Days Of Night) is now the target of Cal’s ire after the “ghoul-friend” of Mo’Lock’s is murdered. This combination is a match made in horror heaven (or hell, depending), with this four part mini-series sure to be an exciting and scary rise.

Criminal Macabre/30 Days Of Night #1 is available on December 12th, 2012.
