Dark Horse made a few announcements today, bringing forth more great licensed content. The fan favorite animated series The Legend Of Korra has been growing in popularity since the end of the first season, and now fans will get something more to add to their fandom with the announcement of a brand new art book with unreleased content from the animated series. The art book has never-before-seen content from the first season, along with commentary from show creators Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko. This book will be available on July 24th.

Dark Horse made another announcement today with the return of a Dark Horse Presents classic, Ron Randall’s Trekker. This retro-futuristic series focuses on bounty hunter Mercy St. Clair. While there’s only a limited amount of content, the series focuses on the life of Mercy and the woman herself, exploring both the mind and the interactions of a complex character. Trekker will hit Dark Horse Presents on May 22nd.

Not to be outdone, IDW Publishing made an announcement of their own, letting fans know that Dungeons And Dragons will be getting a brand new mini-series. The five-issue series “Cutter”, written by R.A. Salvatore and Geno Salvatore, and art by David Baldeon will feature a hard hitting, exciting story that will, accoriding to R.A. Salvatore “fill in the blanks and to crystallize my thoughts on the Legend of Drizzt novels going forward”,  giving fans a visual look at some of the terrific media that has been added to the Dungeons and Dragons lore. Dungeons and Dragons: Cutter will hit shelves on April 17th.

Russ Pirozek, known as "Noobcrawler" to some, is a gamer and comic book fan who sometimes gets around to writing for DigitalNoob.com. He's also awesome. If someone looked up "awesome" in the dictionary, his picture wouldn't be there, but that's because he's too busy being awesome to pose for a photo.
