Mike Mignola has been a busy man this year, with his “Year Of Monsters” campaign well underway, as well as his work on the acclaimed title, Baltimore, along with Christoper Golden. The Baltimore series is taking some interesting turns within the next several months, with three new Baltimore titles announced today by Dark Horse Comics.
The first of the announcements referred to the next installment in the series, which focuses on an insane playwright who uses real vampires as actors. This is further complicated by the finding that the playwright is actually a fraud, and the true author of the play is the head of a famous American author, which is kept inside a glass jar. Be on the lookout for Baltimore: The Play on November 21st, 2012.
Next up, on February 20th, 2013, Baltimore gets caught up in a double feature with Baltimore: The Widow And The Tank. “The Widow” focuses on a woman whose husband and comrades have returned from the war, all the while with vampire attacking their hometown. “The Tank” takes a look at rumors of a vampire living in a wrecked tank, eating cattle.
Finally, on June 19th, 2013, Baltimore returns once again, with Baltimore: The Inquisitor, which features an origin story on one of the main characters in the title, Judge Duvic.
