Dark Horse Presents Adds New Entries, IDW Tries To Kill Shakespeare (Again) And Image Announces Adjectives!

Dark Horse Presents is one of the biggest major releases for showcasing up and coming talent (as well as some of the premiere members of the comic book community). With another volume of the iconic series, Simon Roy and Jason Wordie are set to show off their series,Tiger Lung: Under The Ice. The titular character, an ice-shaman, is on a quest to retrieve the corpse of his father underneath a glacier. While there are some strange things happening underneath the ice, Tiger Lung knows that should he not fulfill his quest, both he and his father are forever trapped.
Also announced for the upcoming volume is Shannon Wheeler’s Villain House, a series that focuses on the evils of the world, with the first volume focusing on the Pachyderm and the Squid, two criminals who break out of prison on an attempted crime spree. The second volume will feature the Son of Satan on a very bad blind date, and the third shows numerous villains planning a major heist. Both of these exciting stories will be available then the newest volume of Dark Horse Presents hit stores on February 20th.
A new volume of the strange hit series Kill Shakespeare is also on the way from IDW Publishing, with the team of co-writers Conor McCreery and Anthony Del Col and artist Andy Belanger returning for Kill Shakespeare: The Tide Of Blood. This fan-favorite series is a dark and gritty story based to an extent on the work of the legendary playwright, and will hit shelves on February 20th.
Image Comics also had a major announcement, with the adjective-heavy Skullkickers reboot, All New Secret Skullkickers (also known as Skullkickers #22). With all of these reboots, creator Jim Zub is looking to wear out both the comic book industry and the dictionary in one fell swoop. This incredible series will grace the world with its presence this May.
