Dark Souls To Get New DLC For PC And Consoles
Posted on June 1, 2012 AT 06:11pm
Namco Bandai Games announced new DLC for Dark Souls, the hit Action-RPG developed by FromSoftware. The Dark Souls: Artorias of the Abyss DLC will release for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, and will also be included in the PC version’s Dark Souls: Prepare To Die Edition.
The DLC will add several new aspects to the game, with additional weapons, armor, bosses, maps, and much, much more. As well as all the goodies already mentioned, the game will also feature a brand new, untold chapter, with the forests of Oolacile spreading darkness throughout the land, with only the strongest of warriors having a chance to stop it.
An additional feature, which will be in both the PC and console versions is an online match-making feature that will allow for online battles in one vs. one, two vs. two, and four player battle royale formats. Show your skills in Dark Souls against other players and prove who is the strongest warrior in Lordran.
The Dark Souls: Artorias of the Abyss DLC will be available for 1200 Microsoft Points for the Xbox 360, and for $14.99 for the Playstation 3. The Prepare To Die Edition will be available on Steam and Games For Windows. Both will release on August 24th.
