Nintendo released a lot of information today, especially when it came to the Wii U and its major launch titles. While many games are crossing over into the new console generation, only a few have the kind of momentum that THQ and Vigil Games’ Darksiders 2 has gained since its release several weeks ago.

Using the Wii U’s unique controller, players can get even more in tune with Death as he moves to save his brother, attempting to redeem the Horseman blamed for starting Armageddon. Use the gyro controls to move Death during swimming and riding sequences, manipulate objects, and avoid getting hit. The touchpad will also allow for easy access to Death’s inventory and check out the map without trouble, getting a more immersive experience.

Death rides again, this time onto the Wii U, as Darksiders 2 makes its way onto the console on November 18th, the same day as the launch of the Wii U. Darksiders 2 is also available now for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC.
