Earlier today THQ announced the Summer of Death promotion for Darksiders II. This upcoming promotion gives community members the opportunity to win exclusive rewards.Jim Huntley, the Vice President of Global Brand Marketing stated: “The Summer of Death is an exciting campaign of promotions and giveaways intended to reward our most loyal fans.”

Anyone that pre-orders Darksiders II will receive an exclusive t-shirt upon the release of the game. In order to receive the shirt you must show the original pre-order receipt, pay for shipping and handling and follow the instructions for redeeming your t-shirt on the Darksiders Facebook page. More rewards will be revealed throughout the summer through the Facebook page.

Darksiders II will be released on August 14 for the Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
