With the release of Darksiders II in only a few short days, the crew over at THQ and Vigil have announced a few special items for those fans looking to take on the role of Death in the new game. A few select weapons will be available through various means, and those means have been announced, with three special in-game weapons available to fans.

The first weapon, the Van Der Schmash, is available here, and is best suited for level 5-10 players to pulverize their enemies into pulp. Picking up the game before August 27th and linking your THQ ID when booting up the game and going to that website will give you access to the weapon, so fans should pick up the game as early as possible.

The second weapon is gained in a similar fashion, by clicking the link here, picking up your copy of the game before August 27th and linking your THQ account. This weapon, the Mace Maximus, is also recommended for level 5-10 players.

Rusanov’s Axe, a massive weapon for level 5-10 players, is likely the simplest weapon to gain access to,  with players only having to go to the Darksiders II Facebook page and allowing access to the app for the game and liking the page.
